Resources Legacy Fund Foundation (RLFF), as a supporting organization of Resources Legacy Fund (RLF), operates for the benefit of and shares the same mission, staff, and operational strategy as RLF. RLFF is governed by a board of directors that differs only slightly from that of RLF.
Like RLF, RLFF accepts contributions, then makes grants or loans, or enters into contracts, to conserve land, water, and marine resources; assists other organizations in carrying out environmental protection projects; promotes understanding of conservation issues; and advocates for sound natural resource policies. RLFF currently supports the California Coastal and Marine
Initiative, Marine Life Protection Act Initiative, and
Sustaining California's Ocean programs.
